From Knights and Princesses to Today's Modern Artist

In the Middle Ages, where Knights and Princesses lived, cross stitch was a revered art. (Revered means well liked and wanted). Cross stitch is art with thread on fabric to make lovely designs. Having such art woven onto your clothing made it very special and unique. Today, many people are bringing this art form back to life. You may see it on table coverings, pillow cases, or hanging from a wall. Our friends, Sienna and Autumn are learning this beautiful art while being homeschooled. Thank you for sharing, friends! If you try cross stitch, send us your finished work, and we may share it in our art gallery. Send all submissions to magicsandboxwebazine@gmail.com. Happy stitching everybody!
